Preparation of wooden surfaces
Remove all traces of dirt, dust, grease or any other contaminants.
Clean all cracks using a scraper, fill in with putty, cut off knots, and remove all traces of natural resin.
In the case of previously painted surfaces, remove old paint by sanding along the fibre with medium grain sandpaper; when applying opaque paint, remove only non-adhering old paint.
Remove and repair all areas attacked by fungus, mould, etc.
Remove dust from all surfaces.
Apply first layer of coating (fast sanding white primer G53101, yellow primer for carpentry G5144 or Lasure).
